In 2008, Dr. Kirk Houston, Sharon Houston & Alphonso Albert set out to create a nonprofit organization with the mission of building healthy neighborhoods by providing services and programs for disadvantaged and underserved youth, individuals, families, and communities in Hampton Roads.

Today, the Garden of Hope continues to provide programs and services that improve the lives of countless individuals and families through its multifaceted programs.
